139. The licence plate of a road vehicle used exclusively on private land or roads and not intended to be operated on public highways, including vehicles on metal caterpillar tracks, with the exception of buses, minibuses, trucks and commercial vehicles whose use requires a permit from the Commission des transports du Québec, shall bear the prefix “V”.
Despite the first paragraph, a personalized registration plate affixed to an all-terrain vehicle shall bear the prefix “V” followed by a hyphen.
The fees payable to retain the right to operate a road vehicle covered by this section are $54.25.
